Early Intervention Advocacy
This is a focused advocacy service designed to help parents understand and use school or state evaluation results with confidence. When reports feel confusing or families are told their child “doesn’t qualify” despite real concerns, a licensed speech-language pathologist reviews the evaluation, explains the findings in clear, parent-friendly language, and highlights what the scores do show, and what they do not show, about a child’s communication needs. Families receive a written summary with clinical context, along with customized talking points and questions to support effective advocacy in school or state meetings. This service empowers parents to move beyond the numbers, make informed decisions, and pursue the support their child truly needs. (Available to families in Greenwich, CT, Lower Westchester, NY, and virtually.)
