Alicia Dalton

Hi, my name is Alicia Dalton, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in Connecticut and New York with experience treating children from birth to 21 years with a variety of communication difficulties in the school and pediatric hospital settings.  The types of therapy I provide include early intervention, articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC). I received my B.S. from Springfield College in Communication Sciences & Disorders and my M.S. from Mercy College in Communication Disorders. During my graduate studies, I had the opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to Ica, Peru where I provided speech therapy to infants and children with cleft lip and cleft palate following their cleft repair surgery.

I currently work full-time at a public school in Connecticut, providing individualized and group therapy for children in kindergarten through fifth grade with expressive and receptive language disorders, social communication difficulties, and articulation/phonological disorders. Being a part of enhancing another’s communication skills is truly a rewarding experience and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to do so each day!

Let’s Work together!
