Jossy Gramajo

Hello! My name is Jossy Gramajo, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD-BE. I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist. I earned both my Bachelor and Master of Science in Communication Disorders at Mercy College, NY. I earned my bilingual extension certification in Spanish at Teachers College, Columbia University, NY. I had the honor of traveling abroad and participating in medical mission trips to Colombia and Peru. I provided speech therapy to infants and children who had either a cleft lip, cleft palate, and/or microtia. In addition, I counseled families and provided techniques to use pre and post-surgery.

I have experience working with children from birth to adulthood and from medically-based to school-based settings. My therapy treatment focuses on a variety of communication disorders, pediatric feeding, AAC device, developing strategies for school-based students, and collaborating closely with educators, other service providers, and caregivers. I deliver support to families and provide strategic methods that can be carried over into the client’s natural environment. I specialize in providing speech and language services, performing dynamic assessments, and providing therapeutic methods to  team members and caregivers pertaining to bilingualism and communication disorders. My objective is providing adequate speech services that will meet the client's goals and providing appropriate services to the bilingual population.
